FRV Sells Four Italian PV Plants To Munich Re

Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) has completed the sale of four of its solar plants in Italy to Munich Re, through Munich Re's asset manager, MEAG. The plants, which are located in southern Italy, have a total power output of approximately 30 MW.

The four installations were built in 2010 by BP Solar through an engineering, procurement and construction agreement. Although Munich Re now holds 100% of the property, Fotowatio Italia SRL, part of the FRV group, will continue to manage the plants, the companies note.
