Hannah Solar Building PV Array For U.S. Marine Corps

Hannah Solar Government Services LLC says that Turner Universal Construction, based in Washington, D.C., has awarded the company a contract valued at $4,087,706 for the construction of a 1.1 MW solar photovoltaic system for the U.S Marine Corps in Camp Lejeune, N.C.

The system will be roof-mounted on standing-seam metal roofs and canopy-mounted on the top of a parking garage. It is expected to generate 1,323,000 kWh of electricity annually for the U.S. Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune.

The project will use components manufactured in the U.S., Hannah Solar notes.
