China-based vertically integrated solar power products provider JinkoSolar Holding Co. Ltd. has extended its workmanship warranty on its Quantum-1 solar modules, which are produced using pseudo-mono multicrystalline cells.
Effective immediately, Quantum-1 modules will now be covered for a period of 10 years. JinkoSolar says the new warranty complements its 25-year peak power warranty – namely, a 90% performance warranty for the first 12 years and 80% for the remainder of the warranty period.
The company adds that it also offers its customers the option for a positive tolerance of up to 0-3% in addition to an optional linear performance warranty.
