JP Sercel Associates Inc. (JPSA), a provider of laser micromachining services for process development and industrial laser applications, has expanded its job shop operations with the addition of new diode-pumped solid-state laser, ultrafast laser and excimer laser workstations.
These additions will extend JPSA's capacity to accommodate global micromachining customers with the solar sector and other industries, the company says. The building expansion provides additional space enabling the installation of several laser micromachining workstations, including the ultrafast laser tools.
The new facility houses clean rooms, an expanded full-featured job shop, an applications laboratory and an expansion of a production facility for the manufacturing of laser micromachining systems.
