Satcon Technology Corp., a provider of utility-scale power solutions for the renewable energy market, says it has been selected by developer BIOSAR Energy SA for 20 MW of utility-scale power plants across Italy, Greece and Bulgaria.
BIOSAR will deploy 32 625 kW Equinox inverters for the projects. According to Satcon, the Equinox inverter enables the remote control of real and reactive power, low-voltage ride-through and power factor control, and can be integrated into supervisory control and data acquisition systems through standardized communication interfaces.
