Papendorf Software Engineering GmbH has released a new hardware tool to monitor large-scale photovoltaic plants – the SOL Connect Control Center.
The SOL Connect Control Center monitors individual subplants, testing and visualizing photovoltaic processes and measured values and triggering alarms when errors occur. The openly configurable system can be adapted to the user's individual needs at any time, the company says.
Independent of Web portals or servers, the SOL Connect Control Center can merge the functions of several of these systems. Through grouping, building sums of output and entries, and prioritizing malfunctions, monitoring personnel can maintain an overview of large-scale plants with up to 500 inverters from different manufacturers. Additional reference sensors enable the inverter-independent evaluation of plant data, and open interfaces – such as OPC, XML or SOAP – simplify the exchange of data with products from different manufacturers.
