Pfister Energy Inc., renewable energy company headquartered in Hawthorne, N.J., has appointed Andrew Nekus vice president of business development and engineering, and Robert Vessie vice president of operations.
In his new role, Nekus will direct Pfister's strategic sales and marketing activities and serve as the principal liaison for the company's key technology providers. Nekus has led business teams in a variety of renewable energy environments, including utility-scale photovoltaics, combined heat and power, and biomass. Prior to joining Pfister Energy, he worked with SunDurance Energy, First Solar, PSEG Global and United American Energy.
Vessie will streamline business development, purchasing, project management, and operations and maintenance, ensuring that projects are executed on time and on budget. He brings to the company previous experience with technology evaluation, regulatory compliance and permitting.
