Senersun, a France-based manufacturer of solar panels, has entered into an agreement to acquire a stake in Shinew Photoelectronic Technology, a China-based PV product manufacturer.
Senersun expects that this acquisition will increase its production capacity – which the company says is a necessary step to meet the surging demand coming from the company's customers. Despite this year's poor global demand for PV modules, Senersun says it has been growing steadily over the year.
Shinew Photoelectronic Technology was selected by Senersun after a several-month due-diligence process and based on several key criteria, such as its established manufacturing base, compliance with the highest-quality standards, cost competitiveness, financial strengths, management team's experience and environmental soundness.
