Solar Energy International (SEI), a PV training provider, says it is formally endorsing three certifications: North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners certification, UL's PV Installer Certification and Certified Solar Roofing Professional certification through Roof Integrated Solar Energy.
SEI's student body has significantly grown to include students from all trades, including electrical, roofing and the broader construction industry, the organization explains. This is the motivation for SEI's endorsement of these certifications.
Additionally, SEI has been selected as a testing center for the UL PV Installer Certification exam. Exam dates will be scheduled to align with SEI's solar training.
SEI has also expanded its training program through the development of the SEI Solar Professionals Certificate Program.
