Solar Power Partners (SPP) and JCM Capital have signed an agreement with Solar Power Network (SPN) to provide full project financing for up to 20 MW of commercial-scale rooftop installations to be located throughout southwestern Ontario.
The agreement follows the recent Solar Power Partners-JCM Capital announcement on the launch of their fund to develop, finance, own and operate 200 MW of solar projects in Ontario, bringing the current fund volume to 50 MW.
SPP and JCM note that they have already initiated 20 MW of projects that will start construction this year. The fund focuses on the installation of solar projects on large commercial and industrial buildings across Ontario, utilizing the province's feed-in-tariff program via solar power purchase agreements with the Ontario Power Authority.
