SolarCity, a provider of solar power financing, design, installation, monitoring and energy efficiency services, has named Linda Keala vice president of human resources. Keala will report to chief operating officer Peter Rive and will oversee SolarCity's ongoing talent acquisition and human resources functions.
Keala brings to the position more than 20 years of experience. She will help manage SolarCity's employee growth, compensation, benefits, performance, training and development programs.
Keala joined SolarCity from TransformBlue Inc., a mobile Internet technology firm leading companies on strategy, technology, branding and running mobile applications. Keala was also previously an executive vice president and chief people officer of USWeb/CKS, an Internet consulting firm servicing Fortune 100 companies.
