SOLON Corp., a provider of turnkey solar power plants and manufacturer of crystalline silicon solar modules, has hired David Goldman as vice president of project finance and strategic planning, and Jay Meridew as vice president of finance.
Goldman will oversee all financing aspects for SOLON's commercial- and utility-scale solar projects. Meridew will assume responsibility for accounting and information technology functions. Goldman previously served as director of structured finance at SunPower Corp.
Meridew has served for 17 years as a chief financial officer to Tucson-based companies, including a recent stint as CFO of Leoni Wiring Systems' North American subsidiary in Tucson, where he oversaw sales, purchasing, finance, IT, risk management, human resources and administration functions.
