SunUp Energy, a Palm Springs, Calif.-based provider of solar thermal and PV system design and installation, says it has been approved as a general contractor for the property-assessed clean energy (PACE) program for Palm Springs, an assessment bond program administered under CA PACE.
SunUp has also been approved as a subcontractor partner under the Single-Family Affordable Housing (SASH) program, which is managed by GRID Alternatives on behalf of the California Public Utilities Commission. The program is designed to facilitate the installation of PV installations for low-income households.
