Unirac, a provider of infrastructure for solar power systems, has opened its new subsidiary, Unirac Canada Corp., in Mississauga, Ontario. Managed by Unirac Inc.'s CEO, Doug May, the subsidiary will offer Unirac products – including SolarMount, ISYS Ground Mount and ISYS Roof Mount – that comply with Ontario's feed-in-tariff program's domestic-content requirements.
Unirac Canada Corp.'s headquarters are located at 2360 Meadowpine Blvd., Mississauga, Ontario L5N 6S2.
In addition, Unirac and Canadian Solar Solutions Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canadian Solar Inc., have entered into a strategic partnership. Under the terms of the agreement, the companies will offer 30 MW of Canadian Solar's PV systems with Unirac's mounting products for residential and commercial rooftop installations throughout Canada.
