USFloors, based in Dalton, Ga., has commissioned its third solar photovoltaic project, a 365 kW PV installation that the company says is the largest solar array in Georgia.
Alpharetta, Ga.-based United Renewable Energy installed 1,521 Suniva solar panels and an SMA Sunny Central Inverter for this project, which was funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and a grant from the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority.
The combined output of all three USFloors solar arrays will total over 0.5 MW, making USFloors the largest producer of solar energy in the state of Georgia, the company adds.
