Virtual Industries Inc., a Colorado Springs, Colo.-headquartered supplier of manual vacuum handling products, has introduced the VWWB-2A series of substrate handling wands.
The ESD-safe Push Button Wand Kit is ideally suited for handling substrates such as individual photovoltaic cells during the manufacturing process, according to the company. The lightweight push-button wand is designed for connection to an in-house continuous vacuum system.
Operation involves connecting the vacuum hose to a vacuum source and to the rear of the tool, and then installing the press-fit handling tip that corresponds to the size of the substrate to be handled.
