Westpak Inc., a third-party independent testing laboratory based in San Jose, Calif., says it has expanded its ISO/IEC 17025 Scope of Accreditation from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation.
The expanded scope covers many additional test inputs for photovoltaic module testing, in addition to other new testing inputs. New PV module tests include UV preconditioning, hot spot endurance, light-soaking, performance evaluation at STC, NOCT and low irradiance as specified in UL 1703, IEC 61215, IEC 61646, IEC 62108, and IEC 61730-2 PV module test standards.Â
