Westpak, an independent testing firm with laboratories in San Jose and San Diego, Calif., says it has received a significant expansion of its ISO/IEC 17025 Scope of Accreditation for photovoltaic module testing.
Westpak is now accredited by A2LA to conduct over 80% of the tests specified in the UL 1703, IEC 61215, IEC 61646, IEC 62108 and IEC 61730-2 test standards. The company notes that it is also accredited to perform a wide variety of other tests, including ASTM and ISTA package testing.
