AEG Power Solutions Receives German Certificate

0

AEG Power Solutions, a provider of solar inverters and other electronics products, says it has received the BDEW-unit certificate from the German Association of Energy and Water Industries for its central inverters Protect PV.250 and Protect PV.500.

The ‘Generating Plants Connected to the Medium-Voltage Network’ guideline, published in 2008, sets out items that must be considered when connecting solar inverters to the medium-voltage network.

From October 2011 onward, power generators in Germany must hold a unit certificate proving that new grid-connected solar inverters entering operation comply with this guideline, the company explains. The Protect PV.250 and Protect PV.500 central inverters from AEG Power Solutions now hold this unit certificate, proving that they satisfy these requirements.
