Hangzhou, China-headquartered Astronergy (also known as Chint Solar) has signed a supply agreement with SPG Solar to provide 2.2 MW of polycrystalline silicon modules for SPG's solar rooftop project in Florida. Module shipment will begin this month.
This agreement represents Astronergy's entrance into the Florida PV market, the company notes. Astronergy plans to provide this market with a range of solar modules, including its monocrystalline, polycrystalline and thin-film modules.
