BenQ Solar says it has partnered with France-based IRFTS, producer of the Easy Roof Evolution module frames, to develop an installation package with the SunForte (PM318B00) solar modules produced by its parent company, AU Optronics (AUO).
The product is being marketed in France and the Benelux countries. Another package using AUO's AC Unison (PM250MA0) module is available for the Italian market. BenQ says storage systems, either equipped with lead-acid or lithium-ion batteries, are also integrated into its residential packages.
The company notes it produces its PV modules for the European market in the Czech Republic.
