Canadian Solar subsidiary Canadian Solar Solutions Inc. has completed the sale of the 10 MW Val Caron solar power plant, valued at over C$60 million, to One West Holdings Ltd., an affiliate of Concord Green Energy.
Located in Ontario, Canada, the Val Caron facility represents Canadian Solar's first of five planned solar project sales to Concord Green Energy. Community developer Concord Pacific had launched Concord Green Energy as its arm responsible for the development of clean power projects.
‘We are excited to have reached another acquisition milestone,’ remarks Cliff McCracken, senior vice president of Concord Pacific. ‘Solar energy will soon be a significant contributor to our clean power portfolio of projects already in operation across Canada."
