Valos Solar Ventures and Gehrlicher Solar America Corp. have formed a joint development agreement focused on providing solar energy to investor-owned and municipal utilities in California.
The companies are working together to develop sites for Pacific Gas and Electric, Southern California Edison, San Diego Gas and Electric, and municipal utilities for their request-for-offer, renewable auction mechanism and renewable energy request for proposal initiatives, as well as those related to the recently approved virtual-net-metering bill.
The team has 235 MW of projects in development, with Gehrlicher providing the engineering, procurement and construction services for the utility-scale PV plant.
