Cambridge, U.K.-based Enecsys Ltd., a manufacturer of solar photovoltaic micro-inverters, has received an investment of 2.5 million pounds ($4.2 million) from Good Energies, a global investor in renewable energy and energy efficiency industries.
This new investment adds to the 6 million pounds ($10 million) received from Wellington Partners and BankInvest in June 2009, for a total investment of 8.5 million pounds ($14.3 million) in Enecsys.
Enecsys says will make its first product announcement early this year.
