Teaneck, N.J.-based private equity firm Hudson Clean Energy has established a solar power investment initiative, Hudson Solar Infrastructure Program (HSIP), with closed commitments of up to $150 million for equity investment in solar photovoltaic power generation projects worldwide.

‘Our goal is to provide our investors access to high-quality solar PV projects that generate a steady stream of long-term cashflows at attractive, risk-adjusted yields,’ says Daniel von der Schulenburg, Hudson's vice president and program manager for HSIP.

‘In contrast to many other funds, we are willing to fund the construction phase, as well as acting as long-term project equity in solar PV projects across the globe,’ he adds. ‘We look forward to expanding our relationships with leading developers and seizing new opportunities in the market.’
