juwi Solar has completed a PV plant with a capacity of nearly 20 MW on the site of a former uranium ore mine in Ronneburg, Germany.
The project covers 40 hectares and includes more than 83,000 solar modules. It is expected to produce more than 19 million kWh of electricity annually, according to juwi.
The PV plant is operated by STAWAG Energie GmbH, a public utility.
