Netherlands-based Photon Energy Investments has launched leasing programs for commercial-scale solar photovoltaic power systems in Australia.
Photon Energy Generation Australia (PEGA) is offering commercial energy a commercial hire purchase (CHP) agreement or a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the option to buy the PV system later. Both options are based on the installation of a PV system on the site of the customer, thereby avoiding grid charges.
PEGA says its financing program is aided by Australia's system of renewable energy certificates. CHPs will be signed for an average of 10 years, while PPAs will extend for up to 30 years.
