The Baker Valley Unified School District in California has awarded PsomasFMG LLC a contract to design, finance, build and operate a photovoltaic system on the district's land.
The project, with a size between 2.5 MW and 3 MW, will feature concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) technology from SolFocus. According to PsomasFMG, the district will pay no money up front and is set to receive a percentage of the revenue produced from the independently financed solar energy farm.
