ReneSola Ltd., a manufacturer of solar photovoltaic modules and wafers, has started providing locally produced PV modules to the Indian market and expects to provide 250 MW of India-madnufactured PV modules over a two-year period.
ReneSola says this marks the first time the company has provided locally produced PV modules outside of China, emphasizing the importance of the India PV market. ReneSola will realize its 250 MW target through collaborating with local strategic partners in India.
The company has also formally introduced its Virtus II modules to the Indian solar market.
