Satcon Technology Corp. has been selected by China-based GCL Solar Energy to supply 45 of its Equinox 500 kW inverters, along with over 1,900 Satcon Solstice Subcombiners, 680 SSC Smart Subcombiners and 64 medium-voltage transformers.
All of the components will be used in the construction of a 76 MW solar power plant in the Caribbean. Additional details on the project have not been provided.
