Seminole Financial Services, a provider of construction and interim financing for renewable energy transactions and various real estate investments, says it will fund a $6.8 million construction loan for Clean Focus Corp. to install 2 MW of solar photovoltaic systems on four different sites in Gainesville, Fla.
The installations include a 1.56 MW array atop Butler Plaza, a large retail center. Together, the rooftop sites will produce over 3 million kWh of energy on an annual basis. The project is expected to generate electricity before the end of the year.
The Clean Focus solar installations form the largest project to date under the Gainesville Regional Utility feed-in tariff program, Seminole Financial Services notes.
