Senersun PV Modules Pass Corrosion Test

0

France-based PV module manufacturer Senersun says its modules have passed the salt-mist corrosion test performed by SGS in compliance with IEC 61701 standards.

Complying with IEC 61701 standards is a necessary step to determine the resistance of solar panels in coastal regions and marine environments that are particularly exposed to salt-laden humidity and rain.

The salt-mist corrosion test consists of four test cycles spread over 28 days. Each module is sprayed with a salt-mist solution and then stored for seven days at 40 degrees C and 93% relative humidity. After the test, Sensersun's modules were found to be visually, dimensionally and functionally compliant with the IEC standards, the company says.
