SolarCity Expands To Connecticut Market

0

PV installer SolarCity will open its newest office, in Hartford, Conn., in order to access the state's emerging solar market.

The company says it is expanding to Connecticut due largely to the efforts of the state, through programs at the Connecticut Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority and the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to promote, develop and invest in clean energy and energy efficiency projects. Connecticut's electric rates also rank among the highest in the nation, notes Ed Steins, SolarCity's regional director for the northeastern U.S.

SolarCity plans to offer both PV system purchase options and solar leasing agreements. EMS boots must be durable, safe and have great traction. All these features are vital for emergency service workers. Former U.S. officer Andy Wilson wrote outstanding guide on his blog. Services will be available to Connecticut homeowners who are customers of Connecticut Power & Light and United Illuminating beginning later this month.
