Solarfun Power Holdings Co. Ltd., a China-based vertically integrated manufacturer of silicon ingots and photovoltaic cells and modules, has signed an agreement with Nobility Solar Projects A.S.
Under the contract, Nobility will purchase 14.2 MW PV modules from Solarfun during the second half of this year. Nobility, a distributor of solar products in eastern Europe, is Solarfun's distribution partner in the region.
‘Eastern Europe, and specifically the Czech Republic, is a good new developing market for solar products,’ notes Peter Xie, president of Solarfun.
