SolarNexus Inc., a Berkeley, Calif.-based provider of software products for solar, has added to its services available to solar system contractors and installers from the company's solar business management platform. The new services, which include specialized technical design capabilities and lead generation, are enabled through partnerships with Solmetric and GetSolar, respectively.
New functionality added through the partnership with Solmetric gives installers the ability to capture and upload Solmetric SunEye shade analysis data, measure the azimuth angle of roof surfaces remotely from aerial photos, and then export site and project information directly to Solmetric PV Designer.
The partnership with GetSolar is designed to give users a way of using their lead data more efficiently and provides SolarNexus users access to highly qualified sales leads, the company says. Leads can be tracked and managed by the SolarNexus platform, along with all client relationship and project management activities, providing integrated business development and customer management.
