SunPower Corp. has entered into an agreement to supply Toshiba with its new E20/250NE solar modules beginning this month.
The E20/250NE module features a 20.1% efficiency rating, delivering 250 W per 72-cell module, and will be marketed exclusively by Toshiba in the Japanese residential segment. The module features the all-back-contact Maxeon solar cell, which offers world-record efficiency, according to the company.
Since SunPower first partnered with Toshiba in 2010, it has delivered more than 150 MW of its other types of modules to Toshiba.
