The Vario green energy group, based in Germany, has completed the construction of six solar parks ranging from 1 MW to 1.2 MW each at three locations in Slovakia. The company has handed over the turnkey plants to German and Slovak investors.
The project planning, system configuration and delivery of all of the components were performed by Vario green energy Concept GmbH, as well as Vario green energy Parks GmbH.
The six power plants – located in Poltar, Biskupice and Rumince – have a total power of 6.2 MW and comprise nearly 70,000 solar modules from Conergy and First Solar. Plant operators will receive revenue under the current Slovak feed-in tariff of 0.3823 euro/kWh.
