Smart Grid Interoperability Panel Issues Call For Board Candidates

0

The Massachusetts-based Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP) issued a call for candidates who are interested in serving on the SGIP Board of Directors.

The SGIP Board directs and advises the organization, which is dedicated to electric grid modernization.

In terms of the board's composition, five interest categories replace the legacy stakeholder categories. The board will be composed of two directors elected from each interest category by the members of that category, plus two directors elected ‘at large’ from the general membership.

For consideration, the candidate must be an employee or representative of a SGIP-participating member organization. The twelve nominated directors will be elected and seated by April 1, 2015.

Nominations for candidates must be no later than 11:59 p.m. EST on Jan. 30, 2015. Submissions may be sent by email to the Candidate Evaluation Committee at cec@lists.sgip.org.
