Cotting School, a Lexington, Mass.-based learning center for students with disabilities, now has a 364 kW solar energy system designed to meet over 60% of its annual power needs. IGS Solar financed, installed, owns and operates the 1,350-panel system and will manage ongoing maintenance.
“This agreement with IGS Solar allows us to invest the money saved on energy costs into what matters most – our students and their education,” says David Manzo, president of Cotting School.
Patrick Smith, vice president of IGS Solar, adds,“We are excited about the relationship we’ve formed with the Cotting School and look forward to being a long-standing sustainability partner well into the future.”
