Shoals Technologies Group, a provider of balance-of-system components, says it has received ETL certification to UL 9703 globally for PV harnesses utilizing the Shoals Connect interconnect system.
Shoals offers its customers full engineering design support to optimize field layouts, which can reduce the amount of copper wire that is needed to install a given solar field. Features of harnesses utilizing the Shoals Connect interconnect system include resistance-welded joints, custom manufacturing, proprietary sealing technology and pre-labeling.
