Solar distributor ThinkSolar and photovoltaic manufacturer SCHOTT Solar Inc. have announced an agreement that will bring the companies' successful European partnership to the U.S.
‘Building on the strong relations of our European sister companies, we look forward to success with ThinkSolar,’ says Bob Mills, director of sales for SCHOTT Solar.
ThinkSolar's inventory of SCHOTT Solar modules will be manufactured in the U.S. and earmarked for American applications. SCHOTT Solar manufactures high-powered panels featuring dual encapsulation, which increases the module's durability. The ASE-300 series modules, manufactured in Billerica, Mass., are salt-water-resistant, making them ideal for coastal installations, the company says.
