The organizers of Intersolar 2008, which will take place in Munich on June 12-14, say the trade show will feature more than 800 international exhibitors presenting the solar industry's trends and highlights. Exhibition space is anticipated to reach 62,000 square meters, and the organizers are considering renting an additional seventh hall at the New Trade Fair Center in Munich.
Intersolar 2008, which will serve as a platform for innovation in the areas of photovoltaics, solar thermal technology and solar architecture, is expected to draw 40,000 visitors. Its ‘Innovation Exchange’ has been expanded considerably, featuring two forums for solar thermal technology and photovoltaics, respectively.
Moreover, the fourth annual PV Industry Forum will attract 400 national and international participants. The event, which will be held in English, addresses industry decision-makers and deals with a wide range of photovoltaics issues. The Solar Thermal Industry Forum is a new highlight: Experts from industry, research and development will be presenting and discussing developments in the solar thermal technology industry.
