Soltas Energy has initiated commercial operation of a 364 kW solar power plant in Lawrence, Mass. The project, Soltas Energy's fourth operational power plant, is located at Spector Textile Products, a manufacturer of laundry bags and wash nets.
Spector Textile will buy the energy produced by the array for 40 years. The project features approximately 1,500 PV modules and an inverter from Solectria Renewables, which is headquartered in Lawrence.
