Leviton, a provider of electrical wiring devices, lighting controls and other products, has entered the residential solar market with Leviton Solar, a new turnkey installation and finance division.
Leviton Solar's services are currently available in New York City's five boroughs, as well as surrounding Orange, Rockland and Westchester counties. In California, it is available in the San Diego market.
The company notes that it uses parallel-system architecture in its installations and offers a number of finance options, including a leasing program through its partner Sunrun.
