Watsonville Coast Produce, a Watsonville, Calif.-based produce distributor, has inaugurated a 739.2 kW solar power system at its agricultural distribution facility in Watsonville.
The Solar Co. provided installation services for the array, which consists of 2,400 SunPower panels. According to The Solar Co., the installation will generate enough electricity to cover 100% of Watsonville Coast Produce's usage.
Additional equipment includes one Satcon inverter and 15 SunPower string inverters. The project's estimated annual production is 1,094,576 kWh.
