Akeena Solar Inc., a designer and installer of solar power systems, has promoted Steve Daniel to executive vice president of sales and marketing. He joined Akeena in January 2007 as vice president of sales and, in one year, added new regional managers, built a commercial sales team and helped increase revenue from $13 million to $32 million.
Prior to his work at Akeena Solar, Daniel managed global system integrator relationships for BEA Systems, a worldwide provider of enterprise infrastructure software, working closely with companies such as Accenture and Deloitte.
