ReneSola Ltd. has announced its Virtus I and Virtus II modules obtained certification from the Japan Electrical and Environment Technology Laboratories (JET), a government-designated certification body responsible for factory inspections and product testing of electronic products.
The certification, a voluntary program operated by JET, involves performance and safety tests as well as factory inspections. ReneSola says it considers JET certification a critical step for companies entering Japan's solar market.
