The Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) from Class 1 renewable resources, such as solar, wind or biomass, to supply up to 4% of load or 174 MW of installed capacity.
According to the DEEP, eligible bids must meet certain minimum requirements and will be evaluated based on price, project viability and the ability to improve reliability in Connecticut.
