Mitsubishi Electric has supplied a 219 kW photovoltaic system at the Bishamon Industries Corp. factory in Ontario, Calif. Sun Integration installed the PV system on the factory's roof using 975 Mitsubishi Electric solar modules.
The PV system is expected to supply over 337.93 MWh of electricity annually. Sun Integration also designed and built an arched solar parking canopy near the building's entrance to facilitate the installation of electric vehicle charging stations in the future.
The project was financed in part by the federal business energy investment tax credit and the California Solar Initiative rebate.
