Battery and electrochemical energy storage consortium CalCharge has signed its first corporate members.
Duracell, Hitachi, Volkswagen, LG, Eaton, Enovix, EnerVault, Farasis Energy, Halotechnics, Leyden Energy, and Primus Power were announced as members at a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) event in San Francisco.
CalCharge grew out of a joint effort of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and CalCEF, a nonprofit clean energy investment organization, to support energy storage.
